Science with Mirus is designed for children aged 4-6, to get them ready for Year 1 science topics. We designed the app to be privacy-first and family-friendly.

Information collected by the app

The Science with Mirus app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information from children or adults.

The app does not include:

user accounts or login
advertising or ad tracking
third-party analytics
in-app purchases
chat, messaging, or user-generated content
location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photo library access

Local progress and parental settings

The app stores a small amount of progress and settings locally on the device, such as completed activities, current lesson progress, screen-time settings, and a parent PIN if a parent chooses to enable it. This information stays on the device and is not sent to us or to third parties.

Parents can reset progress inside the app settings. Deleting the app also removes locally stored app data from the device.

Printable activity sheets

The app includes printable activity sheets. If a parent chooses to print, share, or save a PDF, iOS may show system share or print options. Those actions are handled by Apple iOS and any service the parent chooses. Science with Mirus does not receive or store information about those actions.

Website privacy

This website is provided to share app information, support details, and this Privacy Policy. We do not use cookies, advertising, or analytics on this website. The website host may process standard technical server logs, such as IP address and browser information, in order to deliver and protect the website.

Children's privacy

Science with Mirus is intended for children and families. Because the app does not collect personal information from children, we do not knowingly collect, use, disclose, or sell children's personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and publish the revised policy on this page.
